Nairobi, Kenya – A delegation from the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC) and Cosmetics Europe (CE) visited Kenya’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) on November 13, 2024.  Representing the cosmetics and personal care industries in the U.S. and Europe, the visit aimed to discuss potential collaboration with Kenyan authorities to strengthen the regulatory framework for cosmetics and personal care products. The delegation advocates for the adoption of global regulatory standards, which they have promoted in Sub-Saharan Africa and through U.S. trade agreements. PPB CEO Dr. F.M. Siyoi welcomed the visitors and reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to safeguarding public health through quality and safe products.
