MEDS Fees

1. INTRODUCTION

Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies (MEDS) Quality Control Laboratory provides analytical testing services for pharmaceutical products, medical devices, microbiological products, raw materials, and related health commodities. The charges indicated in this guide are indicative and intended to provide general guidance to clients. Final quotations may vary depending on the complexity and scope of testing requested.

2. BASIS OF PRICING

Analytical testing charges are determined based on one or more of the following factors:

(i) Number of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs)

(ii) Dosage form complexity

(iii) Type and complexity of analytical technique required

(iv) Availability of pharmacopeial methods

(v) Requirement for method development and/or validation

(vi) Availability and cost of reference standards, reagents, and consumables

(vii) Number of parameters/tests requested

(viii) Turnaround time requirements

(ix) Requirement for outsourcing or specialized instrumentation

(x) Stability-indicating or specialized analytical requirements
