Representatives from Roche Diagnostics, led by East Africa Lead Dr. Taofik Oloruko-Oba, paid a courtesy call on the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed on 15th July 2026 to explore key areas of collaboration and strengthen a transparent and productive working relationship.

Discussions focused on the processes and timelines for the issuance of import and export permits, as well as opportunities for capacity building and continued engagement.

Dr. Mohamed reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to efficient service delivery, noting that ongoing institutional reforms are aimed at streamlining trade processes and enhancing regulatory efficiency.
