Machakos, KENYA – The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is currently conducting a three-day engagement with key stakeholders to discuss and refine the Guidelines on Good Pharmacy Practices in Kenya.

These guidelines aim to improve and redefine the role of pharmacy practice, with a focus on enhancing patient care, particularly in the use of medication. They also outline the necessary facilities and personnel resources required to uphold Good Pharmacy Practices.

Notable stakeholders participating in this workshop include Ministry of Health Officials, Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK), Kenya Pharmaceutical Association (KPA), Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union (KMPDU), Hospital Pharmacists Association of Kenya (HOPAK), Council of Governors, and other stakeholders in the pharmacy sector.
