PPB Reaffirms Commitment to Constructive Engagement with KMPDU

The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) Nairobi Branch, led by Dr. Bill Muriuki, paid a courtesy visit to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) on 15 July 2026 to introduce the branch’s new leadership and discuss the implementation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The delegation was received by PPB Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ahmed Mohamed, who reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to implementing the CBA and confirmed that employees covered under the agreement are remunerated in accordance with its provisions.
The engagement reaffirmed PPB’s commitment to fair labour practices, constructive dialogue and continued engagement with employee representatives.
