Pharmacy and Poisons Board CEO Dr. Ahmed Mohamed joined Cabinet Secretary for Health Hon. Aden Duale at the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Mission for Essential Drugs and Supplies on 29 September 2026.

The event recognised MEDS’ contribution to the sourcing, testing, quality assurance and distribution of essential medicines and health products since 1986. It also marked the launch of MEDS Devane Company Limited.
